Technopark and Infopark are the two Government sponsored IT parks in the state. Technopark is in Thiruvananthapuram while Infopark is in Kochi.The parks offer IT / ITES companies, work space in the buildings both on rental and on outright sale basis. Besides, land of different acreages are also offered on long term lease.

Technopark has a total built-up space of about 3.2 million sq. ft.  Almost the entire space has been taken up. The park also offers developed plots of varying acreages (Minimum 0.5 acre). Start-up companies leasing these developed plots can immediately obtain power and water connections from Technopark. Permission to build is given by Technopark itself. Besides, IT companies are free to set up operations in any other part of the state. The IT incentives are currently applicable to all eligible units irrespective of their location.
